Practices

Beginning in December practices are every Tuesday and Thursday. The expectation is that athletes are consistent in attending practice. It is important to be at practices to improve physical fitness together as a team so that the athletes can continue to ride together. If you miss practice, you miss an opportunity to build leg and lung strength and can potentially fall behind the rest of the group. We do not have the coaching resources to have riders who require one-on-one supervision; thus it is important to continue to grow our endurance and skills together as a unit.  Also, we design our ride routes & practice plan goals with consideration for coach to rider ratios, so it is important for us to know how many riders we will have attending.  If there is a conflict, the athlete needs to reach out to out to coaches directly. Changes to practice and info about practices will be posted on TeamSnap. It is the rider’s responsibility to check TeamSnap for info about meet locations, changes, etc.

What do I need to do to be “practice ready”?


1.     Complete Rider Registration Form 

         2.     Complete NICA PitZone registration*

         3.     Get connected! Join the team's TeamSnap*


*Once you have completed step 1, Team Director will send parents an invitation for NICA PitZone. Once the athlete is registered in PitZone, Team Director will send invites for TeamSnap.
